Students in my age always know that college is a place of freedom and fun, but to me, it is more than that. We have lots of activities, also with piled-up homework, pages and pages for us to preview. How can we handle this? That is just what I discovered in college so far – the importance of time management.
We got unexpected volume of homework last week, and most of us chose to study the night right before Monday, which means they don’t have enough time to finish it. I’d been afraid of that, so I studied whole weekend. Maybe you’re right, I don’t have time for visiting my friends and watching movies, but at least I won’t have to concern about the undone homework next week. We didn’t have to be self-controlled, since our high school teacher and parents will tell us what to do and force us to do so. But college is a place that we should manage ourselves, that’s the differences. We have to make plans for ourselves, not in purpose to please anyone. Still, though I studied a whole weekend, I felt pressure when I studied. So next time I know that I have to use the time back home for study, too. By that way I could have a pleasure weekend. I will share this with my classmate, hope we will become more and more mature together in the future.
